History

In November 1954, Marlis and Rudolf Doswald opened their interior decoration business in Zug.

During the next 70 years, there have been many changes, due to the enormous technical development and the strong internationalization of our canton. While curtains used to be the only option for a beautifully decorated window, today there are numerous alternatives. And apart from strip flooring, linoleum and carpet, customers have had a much wider range of floor coverings to choose from for many years.

In their first year of business, the founders Marlis and Rudolf Doswald also traveled to their customers without a car, but by bike and trailer to advise and deliver to them, and the everyday language was almost exclusively German. For decades now, cars and large delivery vans have been just as commonplace as advice in English for many years.

We have been able to carry out many exciting orders over the last 70 years, furnish many beautiful properties, and train many apprentices to become good craftsmen and craftswomen. We are very grateful for all these experiences, for our great customers, and we are very happy to be there for you in the third generation of furnishings.
